Job Description

Pymble Ladies’ College is a school of the Uniting Church in Australia for girls Kindergarten to Year 12 with boarding from Year 7. At Pymble, we foster a world-class educational environment with the importance of global citizenship and a worldwide perspective central to our strategic intent.

The role

We are seeking an energetic and highly organised Sports Co-ordinator to play a key role in the delivery of our dynamic Tennis Program.

The Tennis Program at Pymble Ladies' College provides students with the opportunity to develop their skills, confidence and passion for the game within a supportive and high-performing environment. Catering to students across participation, development and performance pathways, the program is focused on fostering technical excellence, teamwork, resilience, and a lifelong enjoyment of sport. Through expert coaching, structured training programs and competitive opportunities, students are encouraged to achieve their personal best while contributing to a positive and inclusive team culture. The program is underpinned by a strong commitment to student wellbeing and the holistic development of each athlete.
 
Working closely with the Head Coach – Tennis and broader Sport team, this position coordinates operational support across participation, development and performance pathways. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate tennis professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to creating positive sporting experiences for students of all abilities.
 
This full-time permanent opportunity will require flexibility to work across weekdays and some weekends to support training, competitions, tournaments and key Tennis Program events throughout the year. In this role you will contribute to a program culture that values excellence, professionalism, wellbeing and student growth, while helping ensure the smooth and successful delivery of training, competitions and program operations.

  • Willingness to support and promote the ethos and values of the College
  • Demonstrated experience and expertise in the sport of Tennis
  • Experience working within a school or high-performance sporting environment
  • Tennis coaching qualifications in line with current industry standards and requirements desirable
  • Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Intermediate to advanced MS Office suite
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff and parents
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and professional learning
  • Willingness to actively contribute to the College’s coaching culture and broader Sport Department
  • Current driver’s licence required (bus licence advantageous)
