The role
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate educator to join our History, Society & Ethics Department. The combination of Aboriginal Studies and Legal Studies teaching offers a diverse and rewarding opportunity to engage students across a range of thought-provoking subjects. The ability to teach Stage 4 and 5 History would be beneficial but is not essential.

You will display the following skills and attributes:
- Hold a current NESA accreditation and have an excellent understanding of the NESA syllabus
- Have experience teaching Aboriginal studies Stages 4-6
- Willingness and confidence to deliver Legal Studies Stage 6
- The ability to teach Stage 4&5 History desirable but not essential
- Be a positive and collaborative contributor to a successful department committed to improving educational outcomes
- Be confident in differentiating the curriculum in the classroom
- Have a strong understanding of the application of technology to enhance learning
- Be a reflective professional engaged in ongoing development and research in relation to your practice
- Be committed to supporting student wellbeing

We offer above enterprise agreement salaries, ranging from $102,000 - $140,000 per annum (plus superannuation). Additional allowances are paid for co-ordinator and leadership roles. Your salary will be based on your NESA accreditation level.
