The role
We are seeking an additional Learning Enhancement Teacher to join our dedicated team and support the diverse learning needs of our students.
The Learning Enhancement Teacher reports to the Head of Learning Enhancement and works collaboratively with classroom teachers, wellbeing staff, and academic leaders to design and implement targeted strategies and programs that promote engagement, inclusion, and success for all our students.
The role also involves providing targeted, evidence-based support through small group and individual instruction, focusing on literacy, numeracy, organisational skills, and social-emotional development.

You will display the following skills and attributes:
- Qualifications in Special Education/Inclusive Education and knowledge of, and experience with, supporting students with additional needs
- Extensive knowledge of NESA Syllabus requirements across all areas of the curriculum with the ability to teach literacy and numeracy
- Sound knowledge of current theory and practice in Inclusive Education
- Experience and interest in utilising digital technologies to enhance learning
- Knowledge of summative and formative assessment to evaluate student learning using different strategies and to use this information to inform teaching practice
- Willingness to explore innovative approaches to teaching and learning
- Proven ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team and in effective liaison with key academic and pastoral staff to enhance student outcomes
- A track record of positive, professional relationships with staff, students, parents and carers
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to support the ethos and values of the College

We offer above enterprise agreement salaries, ranging from $102,000 - $140,000 per annum (plus superannuation). Additional allowances are paid for co-ordinator and leadership roles. Your salary will be based on your NESA accreditation level.
