Job Description

Pymble Ladies’ College is a school of the Uniting Church in Australia for girls Kindergarten to Year 12 with boarding from Year 7. At Pymble, we foster a world-class educational environment with the importance of global citizenship and a worldwide perspective central to our strategic intent.

The role

Are you passionate about rowing and inspiring others to reach their potential? We’re currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Rowing Coaches to join our team on a casual basis. We welcome coaches of all levels of experience, from beginners to seasoned professionals. You’ll work with rowers across various skill levels, helping them develop technique, fitness, and teamwork—both on and off the water. You will need to be available for the shifts of the squad you are allocated to, schedules outlined below:

Seniors – Monday and Tuesday mornings 4:45am-7:15am, Wednesday afternoons 3:30pm-6:30pm, Saturday mornings 6:00am-12:00pm
Intermediates - Tuesday mornings 4:45am-7:15am, Wednesday  and Thursday afternoons 3:30pm-6:30pm, Saturday mornings 6:15am-11:45am
Juniors - Tuesday and Thursday afternoons 3:30pm-6:30pm, Saturday mornings 6:30am-11:30am
Learn-to-Row - Monday and Wednesday afternoons 3:30pm-6:30pm, Sunday mornings 6:30am-11:00am

  • Previous experience Rowing or Coaching Rowing
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with and encourage young people
